Profile

NuScale Power, founded in 2007 and listed since 2022, is the only SMR developer whose design has NRC design certification (50 MWe module, 2023) and a standard design approval for the uprated 77 MWe US460 plant (announced 29 May 2025/30, per DOE). Its commercial pipeline is tracked in the SMR projects dataset: the ENTRA1 Energy programme with TVA (non-binding, up to 6 GW), RoPower's Doicesti plant in Romania (FID February 2026, licensing ongoing) and a non-binding agreement in Ghana.
